23 Oct IGOPAK doubles its production capacity with a new investment exceeding 20 million PLN
IGOPAK, a leading Polish manufacturer of returnable packaging for the automotive industry, has just completed another impressive infrastructure investment. The new production hall, covering an area of 3,000 m² and costing over 20 million PLN to build, has just begun operations. Symbolically, the grand opening of the new facility coincided with the company’s fifteenth anniversary, emphasizing its dynamic growth and strengthened position within the Automotive sector.
A modern hall – a step into the future
The new IGOPAK investment is not only an expansion of production space but, above all, a clear signal that the company is embracing Industry 4.0 – automation, digitalization, and intelligent quality management.
The newly built hall has been equipped with state-of-the-art technologies dedicated to the production of steel returnable packaging. The key innovation is the IGOPAK Container Smart Welding (ICSW) technology, developed in cooperation with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, enabling automated production of steel and large-scale containers with real-time quality control.
Innovations in the new hall
Among the implemented solutions are, among others:
-
Robotic welding station with a weld inspection system based on image analysis and artificial intelligence algorithms,
-
Trumpf tube laser cutter – from the world leader in laser cutting technology,
-
Yaskawa robotic welding stations, which increase process efficiency and repeatability.
Thanks to these solutions, precision, quality, and production speed reach an entirely new level, meeting the requirements of the most technologically advanced clients in the automotive industry.
Double efficiency and lower costs
The new production lines and high degree of automation make it possible to double the plant’s capacity, which was already known for its efficiency. At the same time, the implementation of modern technologies allows for the optimization of steel container production costs, resulting in more competitive prices for IGOPAK’s clients.
This is particularly important in times of rising production costs and pricing pressure in the industrial sector.
Investment with a long-term vision
The new hall represents IGOPAK’s strategic response to the growing needs of the automotive sector. The company consistently implements the principles of Industry 4.0 by investing in:
-
process automation,
-
digital quality and production control systems,
-
ecological and energy-efficient technological solutions.
All of this reflects the philosophy that has defined the IGOPAK brand for years:
“We don’t pack, we protect.”
This approach emphasizes that IGOPAK is not just a packaging manufacturer but a partner in safety and production logistics optimization.
IGOPAK – a partner for the future
The investment in the new hall confirms that IGOPAK is a future-oriented company, open to innovation and ready to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing automotive market.
With new technologies, greater production capacity, and reduced costs, IGOPAK strengthens its position as a leader in returnable packaging manufacturing in Europe, offering business partners:
-
operational flexibility,
-
rapid adaptation to market changes,
-
attractive cost and technical conditions.
Quality, innovation, and responsibility
IGOPAK is a model example of a manufacturer that combines local production with global reach, innovation with responsibility, and high operational quality with care for the environment.
For automotive companies seeking a reliable partner in the field of returnable packaging, IGOPAK is a brand worth getting to know better.
